Talking about it, Pascal revealed a shocking detail about his appearance: he was not aware of what was going to happen right until the very beginning of the performance. Pedro Pascal did not know he’d be in Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime show
While talking to The Hollywood Reporter, the Emmy nominee revisited his feature on Bad Bunny’s performance during this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show. The actor shared that he had fun doing the feature, however, he revealed a shocking detail: that he was a last-minute addition!Talking about the performance and wanting to be a part of it, the actor shared, “I wanted to participate in any way – literally a volunteer position, like serving coffee if needed – and I put the feelers out through people I work with. When it comes to representation synchronized with celebration there’s no one better than Benito at the moment, and that fills me with inspiration outside of just being super into his music.”He further shared that he had contacted the singer’s team, but had not heard back. Instead, he reached out to someone via mail, and “sent someone an email with a selfie of me sticking my tongue out, being, like, ‘It’s really me.’ Within 25 minutes, they called me back and they were, like, ‘We want you to come to the show.’” He shared that while he knew something was up when he went to the show, he was completely unaware that he would be a part of Bad Bunny’s La Casita.
Pedro Pascal did not know that he would have to dance
The ‘Fantastic Four’ star also shared that the dancing part of the performance was a huge surprise for him. He detailed the entire matter, saying that he was simply told that the theme for the performance was ‘beige,’ and that he was taken backstage from his seat in the middle of the game. “So we’re up in the stands watching the game and somebody pulls me from my seat and takes me backstage and then there’s Cardi B and there’s Young Miko and Karol G and Jessica Alba. They do a wardrobe check and then they tell me, ‘Okay, so the vibe is: you’re dancing,’” he shared. Many other celebrities besides Pascal were part of Bad Bunny’s performance. This included Cardi B, Young Miko, Karol G, Jessica Alba, Ricky Martin, Lady Gaga, Alix Earle, Dave Grutman and Ronald Acuña Jr.
