Actor Ravi Mohan has surprised fans by signing a major new project just weeks after stating he would not act in films until his divorce proceedings were completed. The actor recently made headlines when he spoke emotionally about his personal struggles and ongoing separation from his wife, Aarti. During that interaction, Ravi Mohan had said he would stay away from acting until he secured a legal divorce. However, a fresh announcement has now confirmed that he has officially joined ‘Benz,’ a highly anticipated project forming part of the popular Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj welcomed Ravi Mohan to the LCU by sharing pictures from the film’s set and writing, “Welcome to the universe, Ravi Mohan sir.” The announcement quickly grabbed attention because of Ravi Mohan’s recent statement about taking a break from acting. While the actor has not publicly explained the apparent change in plans, his addition to ‘Benz’ has become one of the biggest talking points among fans. The film is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and stars Raghava Lawrence and Nivin Pauly in key roles.

‘Benz’ adds more star power to the expanding LCU

‘Benz’ is being produced under Lokesh Kanagaraj’s G Squad banner and is expected to expand the world established through films such as ‘Kaithi,’ ‘Vikram,’ and ‘Leo.’ Nivin Pauly is reportedly playing the powerful antagonist Twin Fish Walter, while actress Samyuktha is also part of the cast. The film is described as a high-octane action drama packed with intense moments and fresh additions to the LCU storyline. The music is scored by Sai Abhyankkar, while the technical crew comprises renowned personalities in the industry.

Busy schedule continues despite personal challenges

The latest news indicates that despite his personal troubles and legal problems, Ravi Mohan’s work is going on as usual. Along with ‘Benz,’ the actor is also making his directorial debut in the movie called ‘An Ordinary Man’ and has wrapped up ‘Karathey Babu’ too. He additionally has projects such as ‘Genie’ and director Karthik Yogi’s upcoming film in various stages of production. With multiple projects moving forward, Ravi Mohan’s entry into the Lokesh Cinematic Universe has raised fresh curiosity among fans, especially given his earlier declaration that he would not take up acting assignments until his divorce case reached a conclusion.
