The second Surya Grahan of the year is going to occur on August 12, 2026. In the month of February and March, you have witnessed the first Surya Grahan and the first Chandra Grahan and now be ready to witness the second Solar Eclipse in the month of August. Solar Eclipse is going to take place on August 12, 2026. This will be ab annular solar eclipse that will occur in Cancer zodiac sign under the Ashlesha Nakshatra.

Will this Annular Solar Eclipse be visible in India?

Unfortunately, this annular solar eclipse is not going to be visible from India. People can feel disappointed by knowing this but you can follow the NASA website to witness this celestial phenomenon.

Will there be Sutak kaal in India?

As we all know that this Surya Grahan will not be visible from India so there will be no Sutak kaal. Sutak period will not be effective in India.

Solar Eclipse 2026: Its visibility

This annular solar eclipse will be visible in European countries, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Arctic, Northern Spain, Atlantic Ocean and the North Eastern region of Russia.

Surya Grahan 2026: What precautions you should take?

This Solar Eclipse will not be visible in India so here people should not take any precautions but those who are living out of India should follow these below mentioned guidelines:1. Avoid going out of the house at the time of Solar Eclipse. 2. Avoid eating, drinking and sleeping during the eclipse. 3. People should not look up at the Sun during Surya Grahan. This may affect your eyes. 4. Use binoculars and telescope if you want to witness this. 5. Pregnant women should stay inside home during Surya Grahan.
