Bollywood actress Yami Gautam headed to the theatre to catch another screening of her husband, Aditya Dhar‘s blockbuster film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, as it crossed the Rs 1,100 crore mark at the worldwide box office in record-breaking time.In videos posted on her handle, Yami was seen seated on the last seat of a theatre, quietly taking in the audience’s reactions to the film. The actor appeared visibly ecstatic and unable to hold back her smile as she blushed when one of her scenes played on the big screen. Unable to contain her excitement, she hid her face in her hands.

Yami was among the first few people to watch the film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. Back in February, she sent fans into a spin when she heaped praise on the film and shared her honest review. Speaking at News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2026, she said, “I have already watched Dhurandhar 2. It is beyond extraordinary. I was really emotional. I had to catch a flight that day so I couldn’t say anything to Aditya but later, I couldn’t do anything. I had to read a script but I couldn’t, I had to watch something but I couldn’t. I was just watching the beautiful sunset outside and wondering what will I tell Aditya when the flight lands. I wanted to justify my feelings on the film and what I experienced. Aditya loves his audience and the country and he has given his life’s effort to make this film. Dhurandhar 2 will be an experience that audience will never forget.”She was also seen getting emotional at a special screening of the film with the cast and crew. The actress was seen wiping away her tears as she applauded her husband who took centre stage to share his note of thanks to his ‘brilliant’ cast.

In just nine days at the box office, the film has gone on to beat several lifetime records of top Bollywood film franchises. The film has amassed an impressive Rs 1,128.99 crore worldwide, including Rs 854.99 crore in India gross and Rs 274.00 crore from overseas markets. Its net collections currently stand at Rs 715.72 crore.
