The Manipuri film ‘Boong’ clinched the Best Children’s and Family Film award at the BAFTA Awards 2026, marking a significant achievement for Indian cinema. As it’s a proud moment for India, many celebrities have congratulated the makers. It is produced under Farhan Akhtar‘s banner. Boong released in theatres in September 2025 after travelling to multiple international film festivals, where it garnered critical acclaim. The project has been co-produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Vikesh Bhutani, Alan McAlex, and Shujaat Saudagar.
