Currently serving as an Associate Professor in Education at St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women, Ernakulam, affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, she has played a significant role in shaping innovative learning practices and promoting technology-enabled education.
With over two decades of experience in higher education, Dr. Marin Jose joined St. Joseph College of Teacher Education on 14 August 2003 and has since been actively involved in teaching, research, curriculum development, and academic leadership. Her academic specialization includes Educational Technology, e-Learning, Special Education, and English Education. Through her work, she has consistently focused on integrating technology into pedagogy and developing inclusive learning environments for students.
Dr. Marin Jose holds a Ph.D. in Education from Mahatma Gandhi University, awarded in 2021. Her strong academic foundation includes an M.Ed. in Education from Mangalore University, an M.A. in English and a B.A. in English from Mahatma Gandhi University, along with a B.Ed. in English. She also qualified the prestigious UGC-NET and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Education in 1999, demonstrating her academic excellence early in her career. Additionally, she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the Rajendra Prasad Institute of Communication and Management, Mumbai.

She successfully completed a state-level research project titled “Effectiveness of e-learning on the Achievement of Students with Reading and Writing Disorders in English,” funded by the Centre for Disability Studies (CeDS), a Government of Kerala undertaking.
