Saini S Johray, the production designer, debunked rumors by explaining the Lyari sequences dodged India entirely, crafted instead on an expansive six-acre replica in Bangkok, Thailand. “It took me almost three months to design this film in terms of breakdown,” he shared in a chat with The Hollywood Reporter India.
